20 Weeks Pregnant and Gender Reveal

How far along: 20 weeks

Symptoms: If I do too much I get so fatigued. I am trying to exercise throughout my entire pregnancy and I’m learning to just do what I can. If I walk or stand for a long time I try and take breaks because of my hip/ back pain. I think those are my only symptoms right now. Besides the frequent urination all.night..long 🙂

Nicknames/Names: We still call the baby Rooster. We are trying to figure out a name…this is so hard to do by the way!

Best moment of this week: Seeing little Rooster again. We had our ultrasound and SHE was just a wiggling. She was so precious and beautiful. We love her so much.

Miss anything: Sleeping is still rough because I wake up a few times a night to pee or move. But I feel like this is preparing me for when the baby is here.

Movement: Yes! I finally felt her move at 20 weeks! I think I had felt the movement before, but I didn’t know what it was. Once I realized what I was feeling I having been feeling her move all.the.time. Robert even got to feel our baby girl move for the first time.

Maternity Clothes: Hecks yes! My legging waistband was cutting my belly off. I bought some Target maternity leggings and they are amazing. I also bought a pair of Target maternity jeggings. I am not sure how I like them, but I wear them. I will probably buy a few more staples. It took me a while to buy maternity and I am so glad I did. It makes me feel so comfortable. Oh, I also bought a few maternity bands to wear over my pre-pregnancy jeans that still fit me.

Food cravings: I don’t know. I feel like I randomly want things, but it’s not like I HAVE TO HAVE THEM RIGHT NOW! In fact, I usually don’t eat them. So Imma say no!

Anything making you queasy or sick: If I eat too soon in the morning or too fast I will throw up. Pizza with red sauce still makes me want to throw up. (I ate this a lot right when I found out I was pregnant. We were in Hawaii and our group would eat Costco pizza when we would travel to Honolulu. I ate too much of it and now I never want to eat it again.) RIP pizza 🙁

Have you started to show yet: Yes! I have finally popped. I am writing this at 22 weeks and I think I really started to really show around 21 weeks. It’s weird and fun and I catch myself in the mirror and I like it!

Looking forward to: Shopping and getting ready. Robert and I haven’t bought a single thing for baby girl. My amazing sister-in-law and brother are giving us so much so I need to make lists of things we need now.
